John is a 4* Eventing rider although his talents don’t stop there. He has won many titles to Advanced level dressage and is a consummate show jumping rider. John is partnered by his 2 best mates, Flaunt It and Highly Recommended and they are turning heads here in Australia just as they did in New Zealand. John has won many NZ Eventing titles with often these 2 horses fighting it out for 1st and 2nd.
John is a very popular coach for both Showjumping and Eventing. His open and engaging manner ensures that his lessons are thoroughly enjoyed as well as being of the highest standard. His love of the horses is evident in his teaching as well his riding.

Taelar is an Equestrian Australia Certified Coach and has been riding since she was 4. As a rider, she has won many Open and Rider classes at Grand National, Royal and Horse of the Year level, with her most recent success being Champion Lady Rider at 2019 Adelaide Royal Show. Many of these accolades have been achieved in her custom-made Black Country show saddles and Taelar is obsessed with the comfort and style of them, allowing her to ride in beautiful balance and having ridden in them for over 7 years!
Taelar owns and operates Select Stables, a small show horse business, based in the Hawkesbury, NSW, travels for clients and is a caring young coach, available for riding lessons of all abilities. She also takes on horses to campaign and train at the highest level.
Alyssa is an experienced & successful showjumping trainer and rider. She trains and competes from Introductory to World Cup Qualifiers and National level competitions.
Selected for numerous Team Squads, she has competed most recently as a member of the NSW Senior Squad, and the National Futures squad in both 2013 and 2014 with Moon Print, bred at Jaspers Brush and trained through to Grand Prix classes.
Other accolades include the 2000 National Young Rider Team and also the Senior Development Squad with previous World Cup mount Oakwood.
All horses Alyssa has competed have been started and trained by her. From breaking in & green uneducated horses to top level competition. Alyssa is able to draw from her extensive experience of training many different warmbloods and thoroughbreds, some of which have been sold to Olympians such as Jamie & Sue Coman & Julia Hargraves. Her horses have also been sold to compete in the youth Olympics and she has produced many great eventers.
Alyssa has been trained by some of the best coaches both in Australia and overseas, such as Greg Best, Franke Sloothaak, George Morris, Gilbert Bockmann, Yves Houtackers, Alexa Bell, Jamie Coman and dressage trainers Maurice & Jane Bruce, from which Alyssa now has a excellent understanding of dressage principals and instills them into her work.
As an EA/NCAS level 1 general coach and a member of the paid pony club instructors panel, Alyssa is available for clinics in NSW and private tuition at Japsers Brush on their purpose built jumping arena. She enjoys teaching and was named as VET Trainer/Teacher of the year 2013 (Central and Northern Sydney).
An incredibly talented rider and coach, Robbie has already had a stellar career in both the dressage and show rings, winning numerous titles at state, national and HOTY events.
Robbie is now running her own training and coaching business along side Ali Soster and fiancé David McKinnon – Robali Equestrian and McKinnon Sporthorses.
Her current top horse Robali Razzamatazz is now training and competing at Grand Prix dressage, having his first start at this level in May 2014 and going from strength to strength.
Dave started his dressage career after leaving school and beginning work at Woodside stables in Bowral. He trained with top Dressage rider Brett Parbery for a few years before beginning Mckinnon Sport Horses.
He now runs Robali Equestrian and McKinnon Sporthorses alongside Robbie and Ali Soster.
Having built an amazing team of talented horses, he has enjoyed huge success at state and national events and is listed on the Australian Talent Squad.
