Anna was born into a family in South Africa who loved everything to do with horses. Horses have been a focal point throughout her life. Both of Anna’s parents were avid endurance riders. They bred and trained horses throughout her childhood. The family emigrated to Australia in 2003 to South Australia where Anna obtained a certificate in trackwork riding, stable hand and as a horse trainer. Anna has had extensive experience with horses of all ages and levels of experience. and has also gained experience in the medical field, giving her a deeper understanding of how the body works on different levels.
Anna’s interest lies in biomechanics and rider balance and she has attended several dressage clinics where biomechanics has been the focus. Anna’s passion for saddle fitting was born out of frustration when it came to her own horses and the struggle to find a good saddle fit. This drove her to educate herself and learn as much as she could about horses inside and out. Anna embarked on an ever-evolving journey of learning and growth. She is passionate about educating those she meets along the way and helping owners understand how they can assist their horses.
Anna believes that a well-fitted saddle is crucial for the comfort and performance of both horse and rider. Her goal is to provide personalized saddle fitting services to ensure the best fit for each unique partnership. Anna is dedicated to continuous learning and improvement in the field of saddle fitting to better serve the equestrian community and is working towards her Society of Master Saddlers UK saddle fitting qualification under the mentorship of Paula Jeffery.
