Western Australia
Andrea Quarrell is working towards her qualification as a qualified fitter through the Society of Master Saddlers in the UK.
She was inspired to become a Saddle fitter and is passionate about helping others. Having a horse that was hard to find the right saddle for has created a journey for Andrea to making a happy rider and happy horse and getting horse owners out there riding and enjoying our horses.
Andrea grew up on a farm where horses were trained and went to the trotting tracks for race days, she also dabbled in polocross and went to horse camps, riding every chance she could. Andrea also attended the Equine Management Course through Tafe learning all aspects of the horse, during this time also did work placement with equine vets and agistment centres.
Whilst working towards becoming a master saddle fitter, she has been travelling overseas to saddle factories to learn how saddles are made, travelling interstate to work under and be mentored by master saddler Paula Jeffrey, working on an Equine Massage course learning about biomechanics and anatomy, and also completed her Saddle flocking Course in England.
Andrea is WA she covers all of Western Australian.
