Karly’s journey within the equine industry began with her undertaking of a two-year horse trainers' program in natural horsemanship. Mainly focused on educating young horses in groundwork, preparation for the backing process, followed by liberty training.
Currently, Karly is dedicated to expanding her knowledge and skills in equine health by studying an International Diploma in Equine Osteopathy. Her commitment to understanding the intricacies of equine anatomy, biomechanics and the physical relationship between rider and horse in the saddle, is testament to her pursuit of excellence in equine welfare.
She has also embarked on training in classical dressage, educating her Shire, Friesian and Riding Pony classically. As a result, Karly is particularly focused in postural rehabilitation through in-hand work.
Karly’s love for heavy horse breeds shines through in her own herd, which includes a Clydesdale, Shire, Friesian and Riding Pony.
Karly is currently working towards her certification with the Society of Master Saddle Fitters under the mentorship of Paula Jeffery.
